The principal objective of the statutory activity of the Foundation is offering assistance to former soldiers and their families as well as supporting their professional and social activity. This covers, among others, organization of courses, training and special interest circles, “third age” education, assistance in acquiring profession or education by children from soldiers’ families and establishing and running clubs of military pensioners to develop their social passion as well as interests and skills.
To achieve these objectives the Foundation realized, among others, documentary and training films. A monograph film about the Roztoczański National Park, shown by TVP and TV Polonia is a good example of such activity. Currently, directors connected with the Foundation work on a few film projects, among others, history of Zamość Stronghold and history of Augustowski Canal, commissioned by the Ministry of National Defense.
